Donna Armstrong BSc (Hons) MRSS (t)
Director ESS Brighton
Donna’s passion for Shiatsu, Yoga and meditation began whilst living and working in Japan from 1999-2002. Upon her return to the UK she completed her shiatsu diploma with the European Shiatsu School, Brighton and began teaching for them from 2010. She has since studied extensively with and received regular supervision from Markus Grasser to whom she is indebted for his clear understanding of Classical Chinese Medicine and its applications to shiatsu.
After enjoying giving birth to her two children at home, Donna was inspired to deepen her professional practice to specialise in women’s health and maternity care, completing a post graduate diploma with Suzanne Yates of Well Mother and training as a Doula with Michael O’Dent.
She now meets regularly with Michael Rose from who she gains inspiration in working with the different elements and her intuitive quality of touch.
She aspires to brings all of these expertise to light in her teaching style and loves to work in a creative and experiential way so as to bring Shiatsu and Chinese medicine to life for each student.
She runs regular advanced workshops (link CPD Workshops) specialising in Women’s health.
