Description
– Each online course will cover the TCM theory of specific disease presentations in depth and discuss their practical applications to bodywork and Shiatsu. Each course is accompanied by a Hands-on Shiatsu workshop in Brighton on the corresponding Sunday, during which you will learn how to apply these theories in practice.
Time: 10am – 3:30pm online
Cost: £75. All 10 classes can be purchased for £600.
Prerequisite
- Shiatsu Diploma
- Massage Diploma which includes an element of TCM theory and Acupressure massage
Syllabus
By the end of the workshops you will understand:
- Common Clinical features and Chinese Patterns
- Differential Western diagnosis
- Acute Vs Chronic presentations
- Case study taking – Useful questions and exercises to help with clear diagnosis.
- Common Channels involved
- Key Acupressure points to incorporate into your treatments
- Review of Acupressure point functions and combinations
- Dietary and lifestyle advice
- Patient exercises where appropriate

- Access to PPP and online quiz after the course to test and refresh your knowledge
